Strong for Someone Else

Be strong for someone else.

Be the rock

When they need help.

I listen to my brother’s worries

And let him ramble to me daily.

I talk to my Dad when he feels down.

When my sister’s hurting,

I’m always around.

My Mom, she shares her life with me;

Her joy and frustration,

Everything.

I help them when they’re down,

When they need to get the feelings out.

A distraction or an escape,

I can be there

Right away.

Maybe I don't do the most,

But I listen and I care,

And I am strong

By being there.
